He follows poker news and the poker industry religiously and is always on top of it. Ryan has been playing poker now for over 10 years. He used to play online regularly but recently has moved his game to local games and casino poker games. He enjoys playing $1-$2 and $2-$4 NL Texas Holdem and also likes to play in tournaments when time allows. His extensive playing career and his constant studying of the game of poker make him a perfect person to write about poker strategy. Hopefully you’ll enjoy his writing and he will be a huge asset here on our site.

Nadia ‘Frenchy’ – Nadia is Play Solid Poker’s news and business reporter, focusing on poker news developments both on and off the tables. Nadia has reported on many of the major poker tournaments around the world, including the WSOP and WPT. A poker enthusiast to her core, her love affair with poker started at a young age. Her Dad and older brothers would sit around and play a Texas holdem sit and go every Sunday but she was excluded. One day she had enough and demanded to be allowed to join in. She won, beating her Dad heads up with Ad Jd. Since then she has never looked back and played her way through college where she studied journalism. Nadia now mixes her passions for writing and poker by writing our daily news articles. Her favorite poker player is Annette Obrestad who won a $4 buy in 180 person online tournament without looking at her cards.
