200 Poker Players Gather to Strip

Almost 200poker players have competed to see who will lose their shirts (literally) and who will scoop 10000 by retaining their clothes and modesty. Organized byPaddy Power Poker, the inaugural World Strip Poker Championship took place at the prestigious Cafe Royal in central London on Saturday, with players battling it out in games of “No Limit Texas Holdem”.
Poker players, both male and female, fromtwelve different countries battle it out on the poker tablefor the soon-to-be prestigious “Gold Fig Leaf” and the rights toclaim thetitle of World Strip Poker Champion. Aside from the strict rules that govern poker play, there were clear guidelines on the stripping element. For instance, each player must start the match wearing only five items of clothing. The clothing articles themseleves were supplied by the event’s organisers. Also, for health reasons and modesty, each contestant wasgiven a towel to sit on and to cover themselves but only after they have stripped completely naked.
