PokerStars just recently released the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) schedule and it looks great. The series is going to be hosted in the Bahamas from January 5th 2012 – January 14th 2012. There are going to be a total of 41 events played during the 10-day series and I’m positive that there will be events for every level of poker player. Whether you’re looking to play in big buy-in tournaments with the best in the world or smaller buy-in tournaments, you’ll have the chance at the 2012 PCA.

The schedule could still be altered before the starts of the series, but for the most part the schedule won’t be changed. You can view the entire schedule with a full list of the 41 events on the PCA site. There are going to be some amazing tournaments at the 2012 PCA this year, but the most popular tourney is definitely going to be the $10,300 Main Event. The main event is going to start on January 7th 2012 and will run until January 14th 2012.

Two other popular events are the high-roller events that will be back on the schedule this year. Players will be able to play in the $100K Super High-Roller Event or the $25K High Roller Event at the 2012 PCA if they wish. The best poker players in the world will be entering the high-roller tournaments at the 2012 PCA including Daniel Negreanu. Negreanu has been present at every PCA and he stated that he’ll never miss the event for as long as he’s playing poker because it’s easily one of the best live events.

I expect a lot of PokerStars Pros to be in attendance at the 2012 PCA as well as many other pros. The series has grown each year and it now features some of the best live action you can find each year. The 2012 PCA is the best way to kick-off your 2012 poker season with a bang and hopefully you can add some money to your bankroll before January is over. Don’t forget that you can earn seats to many of the 2012 PCA tournaments by playing in satellites over the next few months at PokerStars.

The PCA is always a fun event as well away from the poker tables. This year there is going to be a Battleship event with a $2.1K buy-in that you can compete in if you like playing the game of Battleship. Bahamas is also one of the nicest places to be during the cold months of January and I’m sure many poker players will be turning the 2012 PCA into an extended vacation.
