AbsolutePoker has been quite busy over the past few weeks signing poker pros to their poker team. Around two weeks ago the online poker room added Matt Vengrin to the poker team and they have now announced the addition of Lacey Jones to the team as well.

Lacey is very excited about signing with the online poker room as she commented: “I’m so excited about this amazing new chapter of my career with Absolute Poker. Our fit couldn’t be more perfect and I can’t wait to share all of the amazing stuff that’s in store with the AP community.”

It was in 2005 that Lacey began her poker career. She was hired by ESPN as a model to play in a charity poker tournament. Amazingly, Lacey played very well and managed to earn 32nd place out of a field of 360 players, an impressive feat for a non-poker pro.

This gave Lacey a chance to try for a poker career and so she did and has never looked back. Since 2005, Lacey has been pretty successful, earning strong finishes in several events including finishing 2nd in the San Diego Super Bowl of Poker and cashing out at the WSOP.

Lacey has also appeared in hit television shows over the past few years. She has been on Entourage, the HBO hit, The O.C. a popular Fox series and Las Vegas from NBC. In 2008 Lacey was voted the hottest woman in poker by Wicked Chops Poker and that same year she was on the cover of Bluff Magazine. She also was a hostess for the WSOP delivering live commentary during the series.

Those who would like to challenge Lacey at the poker table can look for her via the Absolute Buddy found at Absolute Poker. The Buddy will help you locate which table Lacey is currently playing at the online poker room.
