  • Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet holding $530,000 Rake Race

Last Wednesday the CEREUS Network began a new points rake race. Players will have two months to earn points in the race to win their share of $530,000. The top points earners will see the large prize pool divided among them. Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker make up the CEREUS Network so players on those two sites can compete in the Rake Race.

The goal of the Rake Race is to earn the most points and be in the top five hundred players on either the Ultimate Bet or Absolute Leaderboard. Players have until June 15th to make their way to the top of the board and hopefully win the first place prize.

First place will earn $25,000 while second will earn $22,000. Third will earn $20, 000, while fourth place will earn $18,000 for their efforts. Fifth place through 10th will earn five figure pay days as well and then after 10th place players earnings will begin to drop into four figure paydays until the last ten players earn $150.

Another great feature of the rake race is the $30,000 free roll which will be held on June 28th. The top 1000 Status Point earners combined from both poker rooms will be able to participate in the free roll. So if you do not earn a good deal of money from the rake race you might earn a nice pay day from the free roll.

The competition has only been running for just a few days but one player is already holding a good lead. SOUTHCJAY 7 is in the lead at UltimateBet with 14,116 status points. Behind him is MAKE_IT_RAIN with 10,679 points. If SOUTHCJAY7 can hold his lead then he will be very happy with the result of a $25,000 pay day.

Sign up for either AbsolutePoker.com or UltimateBet.com to participate!
