  • Big Weekend At Full Tilt Poker

    Monday, June 23rd, 2008 by t2admin

It was a Father’s Day for the scrapbooks at Full Tilt Poker last Sunday as the online poker room hosted its most lucrative weekly events – the Full Tilt Poker “Sunday Brawl” and “Sunday Mulligan”, which both saw extended prize pools due to excessive entries – with an extra twist that replaced the regularly schedule $750k GP with a satellite tournament awarding the top 150 players with a seat in the 39th Annual World Series of Poker Main Event.

Full Tilt Poker changed its regular line-up to host an impressive 150-seat guaranteed WSOP satellite, worth $1.8 million to the winners. 3,385 players paid the $535 buy-in to take part in this exceptional event. The top 150 spots were awarded the $12,000 WSOP Main Event prize package that includes the $10k buy-in, plus $2,000 for expenses.

The remaining Sunday line-up at Full Tilt Poker remained on par, starting with the $250k GP Sunday Brawl Knockout tournament. With a buy-in of $240+$16, a field of 1,498 converged to escalate the guaranteed prize pool to $299,600. The top 162 finishers would see a piece of the purse, but it was “PokerPete0815” who took down the tournament for the 1st place prize of $64,414.
