  • Bill Perkins Gives Championship Bahamas Prize Packages from Yacht

Whether he’s taking down big scores in poker tournaments or making insane prop bets with Dan Bilzerian, Bill Perkins is quite a headliner in the poker world. And he’s only added to this reputation by recently giving out prize packages for the 2017 PokerStars Championship Bahamas event.

Twitch streaming straight from his yacht, Perkins gave out 13 prize packages to those who retweeted his content (see video below).

What’s interesting is that after giving out all 13 prize packages, Perkins discovered that some of the players won’t be able to attend. So he’ll be delivering more PokerStars Championship Bahamas prize packages over the coming days.

The packages cover a stay at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, the Championship Bahamas buy-in, and plane tickets – all of which is worth over $10,000 combined. Winners also get poker coaching from players like Ike Haxton, Sam Abernathy, Jeff Gross, and Antonio Esfandiari through Skype.

Dubbed “The Thirst Lounge,” Perkins’ Twitch feed shows his online poker sessions. And while Perkins may not be the Jason Somerville or Doug Polk of strategy, he’s a pretty good player who’s also fun to listen to.

As for his poker career, Perkins has earned over $2.5 million in live tournaments. His highlights include finishing third in the 2013 WSOP $111k One-Drop High Roller ($1,965,163) and taking fourth in the UKIPT $50k Super High Roller ($470,368).

Beyond his results, Perkins has also made some good friends in the poker world, including Gross, Abernathy, and Bilzerian.
