Chris ‘moorman1’ Moorman is a top poker player, known as one of the best online tournament players in the world. Surprisingly, Moorman has never won a major tournament at Full Tilt Poker or PokerStars on a Sunday. Moorman has made it final tables at many of the Sunday major events but he had yet to earn a win until just one week ago.

Moorman competed in the Full Tilt Poker Sunday Brawl just one week ago and managed to take the first place win. The Brunson 10 member earned a first place prize of $109,000 which added to his $1million+ in tournament winnings.

The tournament had 2,700 players competing and 279 players would finish in the money. The Sunday Brawl is a $240 plus 16 Knockout tournament and it has a guaranteed prize pool of $400,000 but with so many players competing, the tournament had an increase of $140,000 added to the prize pool. This created a prize pool of $540,000.
Since the tournament is a bounty event, players earn $40 each time they knock out players. It looks as though Moorman was able to knock out a few players in the process to get to the top spot at the tournament.

In the end Moorman had to face online player Towelfish before he would earn his first major Sunday event at a top online poker room. Towelfish had played well too but it was just not in the cards for him to win. In the end Moorman would take out Towelfish and earn the first place prize of $109,620.

Final Results:
MoormanI – $109,620
Towelfish – $70,740
rdcrsn – $52,380
knluiy – $39,420
jornx – $27,540

Biggest Donkey – $8,640
