Online poker room PokerStars has one of the longest list of poker team members. PokerStars has several teams for their poker room including the Team PokerStars Pro, Team PokerStars SportStars, Friends of PokerStars as well as several PokerStars team members representing their home country. The site has recently signed another poker pro as a Team pro and that player is Jude Ainsworth.

Poker Stars.net has signed Jude “J. Thaddeus” Ainsworth as their newest Team PRO and Ainsworth will not be a member of the UK and Ireland PRO team which will be representing the online poker room in their new UK and Ireland Poker Tour.

Ainsworth has been achieving great success in both the online and live poker circuit. Among some of his recent successes is his win at the Irish Poker Championship last year. Ainsworth won €145,000 for winning that event. this year he earned an even higher prize during the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker Main Event. Ainsworth won $963,338 for taking down that event.

On his recent signing with the poker team, Ainsworth had this to say: “I’m really looking forward to competing in the UKIPT and being part of such an exciting tour. Undoubtedly the event I’m most looking forward to is the return to my hometown Galway on the 11th December.”

The UKIPT will keep off in Galway in December at the Radisson Hotel. So Ainsworth will definitely be there to represent his home as well as the online poker room, PokerStars. satellites are currently running at PokerStars for players to earn their seat at the UKIPT events. Cash satellites start at $2.22, FPPs start at 111 and Steps tournaments begin at $7.50 or 500 FPPs.
