Justin “BoostedJ” Smith Signs with Full Tilt Poker
Full Tilt Poker has a long list of poker pros that represent them in live tournaments as well as during online play. the top online poker room recently added one more name to the list when they signed Justin “BoostedJ” Smith to their team last week.
Justin Smith is the newest red team pro at Full Tilt Poker and he confirmed joining the poker room on the 2+2 poker forum. Smith will now be listed on Full Tilt Poker in red while he is online playing at the poker room.
Smith lives in Florida and is known for being an online player. He is dominating in the high stakes mixed games at Full Tilt poker but he has had some recent success at live events. He has cashed out in the World Series of Poker five times to earn over $100,000 in tournament winnings.
Smith recently finished in third place at the World Poker Tour Bellagio Cup V to earn $464,870 for his efforts. During the event Smith was celebrating a hand he won and injured his knee. Smith became the first player to seriously injure himself at a televised final table during a WPT event.
Smith has earned over $690,000 during his poker career in tournament winnings and he is an instructor at the PokerVT training website which is run by Daniel Negreanu. Smith is known as “BoostedJ” online but now that he has signed with Full Tilt Poker as a red pro he will be competing under his name Justin Smith.
It will be interesting to see how well Smith will do since he signed with Full Tilt Poker. Patrik Antonius and Brian Townsend are pros who signed with Full Tilt recently and since signing with the site they have taken big hits in their play at Full Tilt. It will be interesting to see if Smith goes in the same direction or if he continues to play well.
