Recently signed to Team Bodog, Justin “zeejustin” took down his first TLB heads-up match against “fitzfitz” giving the Team Bodog pros their second consecutive win. This means next week’s BodogPoker tournament leaderboard prize pool will be $3,000 for the week of May 12th – May18th.

Bodog’s leaderboard is played for weekly, monthly and yearly prizes giving all players a chance to place in the top of their class. To enter you need to earn points by playing in any regularly scheduled tournament. The only restriction to the Bodog.com leaderboard is your wins in a qualifier or Sit and Go will not count towards the leaderboard. Depending on which tournament you play, the stakes, the number of players registered and where you finished will determine the number of points you will receive towards the leaderboard. Players who finish in the top 20% of any qualifying leader board tournament will receive points.

Each week the top 15 players will receive a prize for their current standings with the top prize for the highest ranking player having the ability to battle one of the pro players at Bodog in a heads-up match. The prize starts at $1,000. If the players wins they receive the cash, if the pro wins, Bodog Poker rolls that prize pool over to the following week and adding another $1,000 to it. The pro players include; Justin Bonomo, Evelyn Ng, David Williams and Jean-Robert Bellande. The other players who placed 2nd – 15th will receive tournament credits for various tournaments including the $100K guaranteed.

If you place top of the leaderboard for the entire year you can except to pack your bags as you will be selecting the tournament of your choice from the poker circuit by winning a $12,000 Players Choice package.

Both Justin Bonomo and Jean-Robert Bellande (from reality based TV series Survivor) are two of Bodog’s newly signed pros. Justin who is know online by the name of “zeejustin”, replaced the former Team Bodog.net player Josh Arieh a few weeks ago.
