Lock Poker Introduces Lock OPS Poker SeriesFriday, April 20th, 2012 by Ryan
It seems that there have been quite a few different online poker tournament series’ popping up all around the internet lately, and one of the more recent ones was the Poker Maximus series which worked with Carbon Poker and Lock Poker. This series was so incredibly successful, that they have decided to run another series once again starting in early May. This will be ran through Lock Poker and will be called the LOCKOPS Tournament Series. It will run from the 6th of May to the 20th of the month and has some excellent guaranteed tournaments with over $2 million in total guarantees awarded throughout the 33 different events that are scheduled.
One thing that makes this tournament series even more entertaining for the players is the fact that there will be a Lock Poker Pro hosting each of the different events, and players will get paid to send these players home! What this means is that there will be a bounty on each of the players Lock Pros, which is just another way for players to get some cash while playing. As you probably know, Lock Poker has some big named poker pros, so you definitely want to check out these tournaments to see who you could be playing against at one of the 33 events.
There will also be a leader board throughout the tournament series that will not only give players a chance to get into a special event at the end of the series (the top 100 to be exact), and the winner of each of the events out there will also get automatic entry into the Champion of Champions event. The best part of this event? Well, there will be two seats given away to the World Series of Poker Main Event, which is one of the most followed and talked about poker tournaments in the world today. Players have a great shot to win these seats if they take down one of the events, as there will only be 33 players in the event!
Probably one of the coolest parts of this series is the fact that it will cater to all different levels of players as well. Meaning that there are some tournaments that players can buy-in to for as little as a few Partly Points, and buy-in’s can range all the way up to the $535 High-Roller event with a $200k guaranteed prize pool. There will also be a massive $215 buy-in Main Event ont he site that will guarantee $500k in the prize pool as well! But if the high dollar buy-in’s aren’t your style, then don’t sweat it because you can find a wide array of different tournament buy-in’s throughout the length of the series!
This series should draw similar interest to what the Poker Maximus tournament drew in, and also to what many other rival online poker networks are running currently as well, such as the Pokerfest on PartyPoker! Many sites have been running these huge guaranteed poker tournament series since PokerStars saw their WCOOP and SCOOP tournament series’ become incredibly popular very quickly.
