PKR Launches $500 “Saturday Big Shot” Online Poker Tournament

Making history in the online poker world last week is PKR Poker, launching what is now the largest buy-in tournament in the industry to be hosted on Saturdays – the “Saturday big Shot”.
PKR’s new Saturday Big shot tournament will be held each Saturday evening at 8:00p.m. GMT, featuring a $500+$30 buy-in. The prize pool will be determined by the number of entrants, expected to be quite large since there really is no other online poker tournaments on Saturday evenings with such potential.
The tournament structure is sure to please many regular online poker players, featuring 6-seat tables and 10,000 stating stacks, beginning with 10/20 blinds and 20 minute level increases. The final table will be highly sought, not just for the prosperity factor, but because the final table will air on PKR Tournament TV, broadcast on the Sky channel 166.
Don’t let the expensive $500 buy-in sway you from participating in the new PKR Saturday Big shot. Satellites for the online poker tournament will run throughout the week, charging as little as $5.06 to win a seat in the “Big Shot” event.
PKR’s Big Shot Saturdays will be held on every Saturday with the exception of the last Saturday of each month, whence PKR hosts its regular “PKR Masters” tournament for $250.
