Poker players will be excited to know that the upcoming Suzie and Howard Lederer Celebrity Charity Poke tournament will feature a great first place prize. The tournament will be offering a $20,000 seat to an episode of NBC’s FullTilt.net Poker After Dark. This is the first Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament hosted by Lederer and his wife and it will benefit the Boys and Girls Club.

The tournament will take place on July 1st at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. The tournament is open to the public so anyone can take a shot at winning the seat to the Poker After Dark show. Full Tilt Poker is donating the seat to the winner and any other prizes given away at the event will be from sponsors as well as the Golden Nugget.
The buy-in for the tournament is $333 with $200 multi re-buys and $100 add-ons. Registration begins around noon on the 1st or players can register early at the Golden Nugget Poker Room.

John Colville, the director of poker at the Golden Nugget commented on the event stating: “This is a very exciting and almost unbelievable poker opportunity. To not only be able to give our tournament winner a seat on nationally televised Poker After Dark, but also be able to help raise money for these great kids, is fantastic. This is simply huge for everyone involved.”
