On Tuesday and Wednesday of last week PokerStars tournaments were quite busy with players spending their day participating in the regular weekly tournaments. On Tuesday a good number of players were participating in the Nightly $100K while on Wednesday players attention turned toward the 100r tournament.

On Tuesday the Nightly 100k tournament had 834 players competing. The tournament has a buy-in of $150 plus 12 so the players participating created a prize pool of $125,100. This created an increase of $25,100 added to the prize pool. Ninety nine players were paid out during this tournament.

BodogBanshee, padjes and MarsoVilnius were able to make it to three way play in the tournament. The first to earn a five figure pay day would be BodogBanshee when he went out in third place. Now the heads up battle would take place. Padjes and MarsoVilnius would begin a battle to the finish and it would be MarsoVilnius who would make all the right moves to earn the first place win.

The top prize would be the only one to offer up over twenty thousand dollars so every player was of course trying to be the last player standing.

The competition would be tough but online players Mumtum23 and rkruok would make it heads up play. Both had played well and would continue to stay at it until the final hand was dealt. Both players went all in, thinking they had the hand to beat, but there could only be one winner. Rkruok had the right cards to take the hand and the first place win from Mumtum23, who had to settle for second.
