• PokerStars Begin Satellites for PCA Ladies Weekend

The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is set to begin this January in the Bahamas at the Atlantis Resort and Casino and during the poker series a Ladies Weekend is set to take place. Ladies will be able to compete in special tournaments as well as enjoy the spa and the beautiful surroundings.

PokerStars has already started satellites for ladies to earn their seat for the weekend. Satellites start at PokerStars for as little as $2.20 with packages worth $3,500 available. The packages include three nights’ accommodations at Atlantis as well as $900 for travel expenses and a $250 spa voucher. The package winners will get to enjoy living in the lap of luxury as they stay at Atlantis for the Ladies Weekend.

Ladies who earn packages will also receive an entry into a Ladies Poker Boot camp which is worth $250. The winners will be able to learn from Team PokerStars pros like Vanessa Rousso, Victoria Coren and Katja Thater. Ladies will be earning a seat to the $1,000 High Heels Poker Tour Grand Final which will take place on Saturday January 9th 2010. This is one of the fifty events scheduled for the PCA.

PokerStars is a sponsor of the High Heels Poker Tour and all females are welcome to participate in the event, whether they are members of the HHPT or just playing for fun. Those interested in participating in satellites for the event can visit PokerStars and go to the tournament lobby. Look under Events and PCA and type in PCA Ladies Weekend in the filter. Those who would like to buy-in to the grand final can do so as well for a fee of $1,250 plus $100. Players can pre-register or arrive on the same day to purchase a seat.
