UltimateBet’s Aruba Poker Classic began this past weekend and will continue until next weekend. Each day of the tournament will offer various satellites as well as poker tournaments. The 5th of October will see the Aruba Poker Classic Championship begin as Day 1a and will have a buy-in of $5000 plus 500. Many poker pros will be on hand to try and take down the first place prize of the championship tournament.

Online players were able to qualify for the Main Event via step tournaments at UltimateBet and if one of the qualifying players wins the first place prize they will earn an extra $10 million just for qualifying via UltimateBet. This offer is part of UltimateBet’s 10th anniversary celebration.

Annie Duke, a member of Team UB and the Card room Consultant for the poker room commented: “This is one of my all-time favorite poker tournaments. While the UB community is famous for gathering together at all sorts of other poker tournaments like the WSOP, Aruba is all about celebrating the successes of UltimateBet’s online poker players. I can’t wait to meet the people I play against online, party with old friends on the beach, and make some new ones.”

Those expected to attend are: Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, Joe Sebok, Brandon Cantu, Billy Kopp, Adam Levy, Bryan Devonshire, Michael Binger, Debo34, Liv Boeree, P0ker H0, Tiffany Michelle, Scott Ian, Hollywood Dave and Matt Graham.

The Aruba Poker Classic will be taking place at the Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino and will see players participating in a week long poker experience. Online players will be able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings as well as rubbing elbows with the poker pros as they compete for large cash prizes.
