  • Party Poker Review & Summary

Party Poker is one of the early pioneers in the online poker world having opened up shop over a decade ago. In the early years of online poker, Party Poker was actually the place to play and it quickly became the biggest poker room at the time. Party Poker has gone through a couple complete redesigns over the years and they seem to always keep up with the times. There most recent software release features simple navigation and great graphics at the tables.

  • Party Poker Bonus

Party Poker offers a 100% Bonus for up to $500 maximum on your first deposit only. They also have given players free money in the poker room in the past to celebrate certain milestones and new software upgrades. Overall the small sign-up bonus will be made up for over the long-run as you play with Party Poker.

This site also has an outstanding VIP Program that offers even more bonus opportunities than the average online poker website. The program is divided up into 5 levels – Palladium Elite, Palladium, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Each of these levels offers different rewards and benefits, and you can climb through the levels depending on how much you play on the site and how many PartyPoker Points you accumulate. The stuff you can earn with this VIP program are unreal, and worth checking out.

  • PartyPoker Promotions

At any given time in the PartyPoker room they have dozens of promotions running worth millions of dollars. They offer poker packages to many of the major live poker events, especially the World Poker Tour. PartyPoker recently bought the WPT so they can offer as many packages as they’d like too. PartyPoker runs monthly tournaments ranging in prize pools with the biggest being a $1 million guaranteed prize pool event once a month. You’ll also find freeroll tournaments in the poker room, bad beat jackpots and one of the best loyalty programs out there. Overall you’ll have tons of opportunities to make some extra money for your bankroll and maybe even the chance to play in some of the biggest live poker events in the world.

  • PartyPoker.com Games

PartyPoker.com still hasn’t embraced the mixed poker game crowd as you can’t play mixed poker games yet, but they do offer almost all the other poker games. The poker games that you can play are Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, Omaha Hi/Lo, Seven Card Stud, Omaha and Holdem. PartyPoker.com offers both low limit and high limit action. They have a lot of pro players sponsored and they all play on the higher limit tables from time to time. I already mentioned that PartyPoker.com offers millions in guaranteed tournaments every month, but they also have hundreds of smaller tournaments running everyday. The poker room generally has a few thousand players in it during slow hours and a lot more during peak hours.

  • The Software

In my opinion, the software at PartyPoker is sort of bittersweet. Because of their huge amount of player traffic, they had to make some tough decisions in the design and redesign of their software. Because of bandwidth issues, they weren’t able to have some of the features that a few of the smaller rooms offer. For instance, the per table statistics are not as thorough as they could be. There are no view/flop percentages or hands per hour statistics (I normally use these numbers to determine how loose a table is).

This site has added a bunch of servers and has increased it’s bandwidth to host well over 100,000 players with no interruptions. To me, that is very impressive. I believe the trimmed down graphics has a lot to do with this, as well. Some of the nicer features of Party Poker are the players notes, instant hand histories, and table-resizing. This last feature was added recently and allows for very smooth multitabling.

  • PartyPoker Support & Banking

PartyPoker offers support using email and phone to all of their players 24/7 and even on holidays. They don’t have a live chat feature due to the volume of traffic they have, but they always answer emails quickly. PartyPoker didn’t become one of the biggest online poker rooms by avoiding their customers when they need assistance.

Party Poker has more deposit options then any other poker room I’ve seen. It would take up way to much space to list them all here, but you can view them on the Party Poker website very easily. If you can’t find a deposit option suitable for your needs on the list of available ones at Party Poker then you’re basically not going to be able to play online poker.
