Poker Terms Glossary - All-In

To bet all of your chips during the course of a round of betting. Players may bet, raise, or call someone and put themselves “all-in“. In table stakes poker, a player may not go into his / her pockets for more money. In these instances, ifa player goes all-in and there are more than two players in the hand, a side-pot is created and split between the remaining players who are not, all-in.
